About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own marketing strategy, planning, execution, and performance for major co-branded credit card partners
  • Lead 12-month marketing roadmaps, quarterly planning, budget allocation, and investment tradeoffs
  • Present marketing strategy and performance to partner marketing leadership and internal executives
  • Identify funnel opportunities and make data-informed investment recommendations
  • Design, lead, and optimize acquisition campaigns across paid social, paid search, affiliate, direct mail, lifecycle, in-app, and email channels
  • Develop experimentation frameworks to improve CAC, LTV, and partner KPIs
  • Build audience segmentation, positioning, and messaging strategies
  • Own full-funnel performance from application through retention, including approval, activation, spend behavior, insurance attach, and retention
  • Diagnose funnel breakdowns and lead cross-functional improvements with product, engineering, analytics, and lifecycle teams
  • Serve as senior marketing point of contact for assigned partners
  • Translate partner objectives into actionable marketing strategies
  • Manage external vendors, including affiliate platforms, direct mail bureaus, and media agencies
  • Lead vendor performance management, negotiation, and strategic alignment
  • Improve marketing infrastructure, tooling, processes, campaign deployment speed, quality, and scalability
  • Own measurement frameworks and reporting cadence
  • Lead performance reviews and translate data into recommendations
  • Continuously refine strategy and reallocate investment based on performance insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7 to 10+ years of growth marketing or partner marketing experience in financial services or fintech
  • Track record of leading the launch and scaling of products or partnerships
  • Deep technical knowledge of marketing workflows across paid and owned channels
  • Lifecycle campaign deployment experience with tools like Braze
  • Experience with affiliate platforms such as Impact and AWIN
  • Experience with paid social and paid search
  • Ability to optimize channel mix and manage meaningful media budgets
  • Strong analytical skills and experience diagnosing funnel performance
  • Experience designing experiments and optimizing CAC, approval rates, activation rates, LTV, and retention at scale
  • Experience building marketing plans, experimentation frameworks, and funnel optimization strategies
  • Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and accountability
  • Track record of building trust and credibility with senior partner stakeholders
  • Ability to represent marketing strategy at the executive level
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with pre-screen direct mail or ITA campaigns, TransUnion, Axiom, and DMS (nice to have)
  • Experience in high-growth startups or scaling marketing programs (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with product marketing for new product launches (nice to have)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willingness to work from the NYC or SF office 2–3 days a week, or relocate if required
