About the role
- Develop and manage a comprehensive annual event calendar, including industry conferences, society meetings, and client engagement opportunities.
- Partner with marketing leadership to align event engagement (i.e. speaking, sponsoring, networking, etc.) with broader brand and demand-generation goals.
- Identify and recommend new event opportunities that strengthen Impiricus’ presence in the healthcare and technology ecosystems.
- Oversee end-to-end planning, including budgeting, operations/logistics, vendor management, hotel/registration coordination, and booth/sponsorship deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop event content, marketing collateral, and messaging that align with Impiricus’ value proposition.
- Lead pre-event briefings and post-event debriefs to ensure goals are met and insights are captured for continuous improvement.
- Manage on-site presence — ensuring everything runs smoothly and reflects the Impiricus standard of excellence.
- Work closely with Sales and Client Partnerships to ensure events support lead generation, relationship building, and revenue growth.
- Partner with the Communications and Design teams to promote events through digital campaigns and social media engagement.
- Support internal events that strengthen company culture and celebrate team success (e.g., offsites, retreats, and team-building activities).
- Track and report on event ROI, including lead generation, engagement metrics, and qualitative feedback.
- Maintain documentation, timelines, and processes for scalable event management practices.
- Communicate roadblocks and program updates in a timely and effective fashion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or corporate event management — ideally within tech, healthcare, or SaaS industries.
- Proven success managing multiple complex events simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills and high attention to detail.
- Experience using marketing and event tools (Asana, Cvent, Hubspot, and others)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and vendor negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
- Occasional travel required for on-site event support.
