About the role

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Research, qualify, and develop sales leads
  • Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, including travel to present value proposition
  • Oversee onboarding and implementation of new clients
  • Coordinate customer training and manage ongoing client support
  • Develop customer-specific SOPs and pricing strategies
  • Support CRM data integrity by maintaining accurate records

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in expedited shipping sales
  • Strong understanding of Air Express and Expedited Ground Transportation
  • Proven success in managing sales territories and negotiating large deals
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience selling expedited freight, shipping, freight forwarding in key verticals including Healthcare, Biotech, Life Sciences, Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Technology, Specialty Automotive, and Specialty Chemicals
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems
  • Must be comfortable with traveling regularly to customers and meetings
