About the role
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers
- Research, qualify, and develop sales leads
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, including travel to present value proposition
- Oversee onboarding and implementation of new clients
- Coordinate customer training and manage ongoing client support
- Develop customer-specific SOPs and pricing strategies
- Support CRM data integrity by maintaining accurate records
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in expedited shipping sales
- Strong understanding of Air Express and Expedited Ground Transportation
- Proven success in managing sales territories and negotiating large deals
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Experience selling expedited freight, shipping, freight forwarding in key verticals including Healthcare, Biotech, Life Sciences, Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Technology, Specialty Automotive, and Specialty Chemicals
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting systems
- Must be comfortable with traveling regularly to customers and meetings
