Oversee a team of 15 engineers who build and support the IMPaCT software application
Prioritize, refine, and - most importantly - execute on our technical backlog
Ensure that we deliver high quality software and maintain/extend the tooling that tests, monitors, and scales our systems
Serve as the primary on-shore production engineer
Lead a small team of security and IT professionals to maintain IMPaCT’s strong security stance
Lead execution of our EHR interoperability
Work across the company to be the voice of IMPaCT’s technology
Guide tech strategy (including AI adoption) with a balance of innovation and fiscal responsibility

Requirements

5+ years experience in Engineering leadership, preferably in a healthcare startup
Experience with building and supporting cloud-hosted, microservice architectures
A security-first mindset with application development and cloud infrastructure
Experience implementing modern development practices, such as automated testing, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, unit testing, and vulnerability scanning
Recent experience and comfort with being an individual contributor
Experience with mission-driven organizations is a plus.
