About the role
- Manage the company’s Quality Assurance (QA) department to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations (21 CFR)
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
- Supervise the review and approval of batch records, specifications, and test results for raw materials and finished products
- Maintain documentation of all quality-related activities
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors during inspections and audits
- Provide strategic direction for quality initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering)
- Fluency in English Language
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a Quality Management or Quality Assurance role within the US dietary supplement manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR regulations
- SQF Certification knowledge is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to solving quality issues
