About the role
- Install, configure, and maintain Epic web and server-based client components
- Support IIS-hosted Epic services, middleware, and certificate management
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot server-side issues impacting Epic access and session stability
- Plan and execute Epic client and web services upgrades
- Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance testing
- Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for Epic client issues
- Collaborate with Epic application, infrastructure, network, and security teams
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IT security, and audit requirements
- Support SSO, MFA, Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication
Requirements
- Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) certification
- 3+ years of IT systems administration experience
- Experience supporting Epic client web services
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, DNS
- Experience with certificates, authentication, and load-balanced web services
- Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
