About the role

  • Install, configure, and maintain Epic web and server-based client components
  • Support IIS-hosted Epic services, middleware, and certificate management
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot server-side issues impacting Epic access and session stability
  • Plan and execute Epic client and web services upgrades
  • Participate in integrated testing and user acceptance testing
  • Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for Epic client issues
  • Collaborate with Epic application, infrastructure, network, and security teams
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and configuration standards
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IT security, and audit requirements
  • Support SSO, MFA, Active Directory, and certificate-based authentication

Requirements

  • Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) certification
  • 3+ years of IT systems administration experience
  • Experience supporting Epic client web services
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, DNS
  • Experience with certificates, authentication, and load-balanced web services
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in enterprise environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
