About the role
- Identify, analyze and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) for corporate management and prepare variance analyses including recommended actions (actual reporting, short- and medium-term planning, and plan vs. actual variances)
- Conduct profitability/economic feasibility analyses for projects and investments and develop recommendations to support management decision-making
- Prepare budget and forecast plans
- Assist in preparing the annual sales/revenue plan in collaboration with executive management
- Actively contribute to the year-end closing and prepare monthly and quarterly reports
- Support managers with business and financial issues
- Contribute to the continuous development of existing KPI systems and reports to expand interactive reporting
- Monitor inventory and material flows and analyze production orders and costings
- Identify optimization potential using appropriate KPIs
- Proactively participate in interdisciplinary projects
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics/business administration, preferably with a focus on controlling, finance/accounting, taxation, or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Technical understanding, strong numerical and analytical skills, and conceptual ability
- Confident in data analysis and preparation as well as in presentation techniques to communicate complex issues
- Results-oriented, careful and discreet working style
- High level of personal responsibility, independence and initiative
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (ideally abas)
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
