About the role
- Provide strong leadership to the Specialty Sales Team, ensuring alignment with company goals and the U.S. growth strategy.
- Set clear performance expectations and accountability metrics for Sales Representatives and distributors.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through motivation, mentorship, and continuous development.
- Champion IMMY’s Core Values and exemplify collaborative, humble, and driven leadership.
- Accountable for winning deals and growing accounts in the U.S.
- Personally lead major strategic deals and support reps on top opportunities.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly booking goals.
- Design and drive the US growth strategy for new and existing business wins.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, collaborating with Business Development for market entry strategies.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Oversee expansion in key hospitals, clinics, and health systems.
- Ensure reps maintain strong customer relationships and grow market share.
- Drive upsell, cross-sell, and long-term account health.
- Manage US distributor partnerships and hold them accountable to performance plans.
- Align distributors with IMMY sales strategy, training, and messaging.
- Ensure distributor coverage supports national growth priorities.
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting accuracy.
- Evaluate pipeline quality, conversion rates, and sales performance metrics.
- Identify gaps early and drive decisive corrective action.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, business development, product development, and regulatory affairs for successful launches.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market developments, and strategic initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales leadership roles within the IVD or medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of US healthcare markets, distribution networks, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Demonstrates strong judgment in assessing talent, capability, and character.
- Ability to lead through change and ambiguity.
- A collaborative, humble, and driven leader with a continuous improvement mindset.
- HubSpot CRM experience.
