About the role
- Achieve sales targets, as well as pipeline progression, new products, margins and performance indicators.
- Drive sales growth within assigned list of key accounts.
- Generate and qualify new sales leads within assigned market verticals.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Field Application Engineers to provide a world class customer experience.
- Manage marketing activities and lead processing.
- Drive funnel development and meet expected closure rate.
- Periodic and yearly business reviews and goal setting for sales, stock and other KPIs.
- Utilize and build a strong network and relationships, monitor trends, future needs.
- Build and develop long term customer relationships, proactively manage customer relationships, and identify areas for growth.
- Identify key customers within target verticals, drive sales lead activity, and work with Regional Sales Managers to close new business.
- Use and update ERP systems.
- Record and track information in CRM system and any other necessary tools, to ensure appropriate and relevant information sharing (Visit reports, calls, opportunities, offers, leads, contacts, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related fields or equivalent experience
- Some experience of B2B sales, distribution support, including demonstration of understanding of how distributors work and their processes
- Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce), MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Collaborative and excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license & the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel as required - up to 10% depending on location
