About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gather, validate, and translate technological requirements into design and development specifications while providing product management
  • Support stakeholders by analyzing and diagnosing problems to determine resolutions
  • Configure, test, install, implement, monitor, and maintain common and complex systems, applications, workflows, processes, and hardware
  • Document and recommend workflow changes and technical/functional designs supporting business requirements
  • Partner with external vendors on third-party application integration, implementation, support, and troubleshooting
  • Resolve common issues, incidents, and problems according to service levels and department standards
  • Serve as project manager and complete project-management functions for small to mid-size projects with multiple teams
  • Collaborate with peers, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors
  • Follow documentation and change-management standards
  • Participate in developing training and knowledge-based materials
  • Configure and integrate electronic and mechanical hardware with software products
  • Develop and understand business reporting needs for end users
  • Participate in on-call and command-center responsibilities, if applicable
  • Help develop and maintain testing plans and scripts
  • Attend team, project, and department meetings
  • Work with project requestors to complete minimum viable products in ServiceHub
  • Request project and enhancement-work resources using the ServiceHub Resource Plan process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified or accredited in at least one Epic module, including ASAP
  • 2 years of Epic build experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel pivot tables, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and Word
  • In-depth business and application knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of system analysis and operating systems
  • Skilled in assessing needs and determining the best approach through documentation
  • Skilled at problem definition and data collection by establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Ability to write correspondence and process documents
  • Willingness or ability to certify on one or more Epic applications and maintain certification
  • Ability to operate computers and other IT equipment requiring finger and hand movement
  • Ability to see and read computer monitors and documents
  • Ability to remain sitting or standing for long periods
  • Candidates may qualify with two years of work experience, or may be actively working toward a bachelor's degree with four years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, not required
