About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Provider Relations Executive (PRE) is the point person and key liaison between Intermountain Healthcare and referring providers
  • Make routine office visits to referring offices, deliver key Intermountain messaging, develop relationships with practice leaders, physicians and staff
  • Reinforce appropriate utilization of Intermountain services, coordinate issue resolution, and act as a liaison between the referring office and Intermountain Healthcare
  • Qualify potential referral generating sources, strengthen relationships with existing referral sources, determine provider and patient needs, and effectively communicate solutions
  • Maintain impeccable records of visits, expenditures, and mileage

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Current driver's license
  • Demonstrated healthcare sales or field-based customer service experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, listening and customer service skills
  • Bachelor's degree obtained through an accredited institution (preferred)
  • A degree in sales, marketing, business or a health-related field (preferred)
  • Experience in the health care industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
