About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of engaged caregivers to provide the best possible experience for our customer and supplier stakeholders
  • Own the operational performance metrics, internal improvement initiatives, and development of standards
  • Effectively communicate with, coach, train, and develop the Category Management team
  • Manage the daily managerial and strategic aspects of the Category Management teams with the greatest GPO portfolios
  • Initiate continuous quality improvement by evaluating and enhancing operations
  • Project management capabilities for high-visibility projects
  • Responsible for both internal and external communications to maximize supplier awareness and utilization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required
  • Highly prefer prior PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) experience and payer negotiations
  • Experience leading large-scale procurement teams (3-5 years of managing 10+ employees)
  • Proficient capability with GPO operations, integration, and collaboration
  • A proven talent to lead a team of professionals to effectively achieve the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Superior proven analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Proven decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability and drive work towards best in class processes to deliver significant financial, quality, and service results
