About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of engaged caregivers to provide the best possible experience for our customer and supplier stakeholders
Own the operational performance metrics, internal improvement initiatives, and development of standards
Effectively communicate with, coach, train, and develop the Category Management team
Manage the daily managerial and strategic aspects of the Category Management teams with the greatest GPO portfolios
Initiate continuous quality improvement by evaluating and enhancing operations
Project management capabilities for high-visibility projects
Responsible for both internal and external communications to maximize supplier awareness and utilization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required
Highly prefer prior PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) experience and payer negotiations
Experience leading large-scale procurement teams (3-5 years of managing 10+ employees)
Proficient capability with GPO operations, integration, and collaboration
A proven talent to lead a team of professionals to effectively achieve the organization’s goals and objectives
Superior proven analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
Proven decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
Ability and drive work towards best in class processes to deliver significant financial, quality, and service results
