Strategic Sourcing Specialist, I
IMHStrategic Sourcing Specialist managing low to high complexity sourcing projects and negotiations for Intermountain Health. Collaborating with stakeholders and optimizing procurement strategies within a healthcare context.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Category Management, Legal, Compliance, etc. to gather information and requirements
- Negotiate pricing and terms, manage project and work requests, and contract repository entries
- Develop pricing strategies including RFPs, GPO strategies, bids and auctions
- Act as a trainer/mentor to other Sourcing Specialists as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 1-2 years of contracting and sourcing experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree (business, healthcare, supply chain, law or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with sourcing methodologies, negotiation strategies, and/or contract language and construction
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- General digital dexterity and mastery of office technology tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
