About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This position is responsible for complex to expert level work supporting clinical applications through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support.
Mentor and serve as a subject matter expert in clinical applications.
Oversees technical support, configuration, integration, and maintenance for various healthcare applications and their technologies throughout their lifecycle.
Provides strategic guidance and ensure the alignment of application configuration and support with organizational goals and objectives.
Manage projects related to these applications and their technologies.
Develop and maintain best practices and standards for application configuration, deployment, support, archival, and decommissioning.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Prefer Candidates with at least one certification or accreditation in Epic with advance build experience.
Epic or Cerner experience in a clinical module (i.e. ClinDoc, ASAP, Stork, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Long Term Care, Orders).
History of leading people or projects.
Bachelor's degree is required in information technology, healthcare, business, or related field.
Eight (8) years of work experience in a healthcare setting.
One (1) year of applications experience, preferably in XXXX.
Certified in Epic applications (or platform) and maintain certification.
