About the role
- This position provides analysis and reports related to budgeting, strategic planning, activity based costing, variance, patient accounts and operations data
- Provides decision support to management
- Able to conceptualize and create effective data extracts from both the GL and decision support systems
- Develops and tests complex projection models
- Communicates effectively with site and system financial leadership
- Responsible for managing scope and completion of work, meeting deadlines, and providing deliverables to the customers or end users
- Maintains project management information system (PMIS) data on individual capital construction projects
- Coordinates and maintains processes for effective capital construction project budget preparation, tracking, monitoring and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
- Five (5) years of accounting and bookkeeping experience is required
- Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) is preferred
- Five (5) years of accounting and bookkeeping experience with at least three (3) years of experience in construction cost accounting is preferred
- Advanced financial, analytical and spreadsheet skills.
- Knowledge and experience with general ledger system payroll systems, capital tracking systems, construction cost accounting systems
