Overseeing iMentor’s financial health, operational efficiency, and significant administrative functions.
Directly supervise 5 staff and indirectly oversee additional Finance and Ops staff and vendors.
Develop and oversee the $25M annual budget and multi-year financial strategies in collaboration with management.
Provide strategic financial analysis and forecasting for executive decision-making.
Partner with Development team on grants management and revenue opportunities.
Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and audits.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and nonprofit accounting standards.
Manage organization’s investment portfolio and cash flow.
Build relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
Minimum 8–10 years of senior-level experience in finance and operations, and strategic planning, ideally within a nonprofit setting.
Strong knowledge of nonprofit financial management, fund accounting, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated ability with revenue analysis and cost containment.
Significant experience with cross-functional team management; ability to structure departments and coach individual staff and support their growth and development.
