About the role
- Provide technical support in accordance with the product lifecycle as defined in the contract.
- Support installation, licensing, and configuration of company software in environments that meet technical requirements.
- Guide customers on the use of documented system features, operational concepts, and workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve failures, errors, performance issues, crashes, and unexpected behavior.
- Investigate root causes and propose effective technical solutions.
- Provide documented examples, samples, and code snippets to support workflows as well as customization and development processes.
- Log support interactions, document solutions, and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and with development, product, and infrastructure teams.
- Resolve product issues tailored to customers from a usage and configuration perspective.
- When necessary, communicate with Esri Support to resolve issues.
- Build customer relationships, manage expectations, and provide information and solutions to their requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (installation, configuration, services, and log analysis).
- Fundamentals of computer networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ports, firewalls, basic connectivity analysis).
- Knowledge of relational databases (installation, configuration, SQL queries, data analysis and validation).
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting applications in client/server environments.
- Ability to analyze logs and diagnose technical failures.
- Basic scripting knowledge and code reading to support customizations and integrations.
- Familiarity with corporate environments and best practices in technical documentation.
- Customer support experience (remote and/or on-site).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical terms into accessible language.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation.
- Organized and able to manage priorities.
- Collaborative attitude when working with peers, internal teams, and clients.
- Technical/professional English is a plus.
- GIS knowledge is a plus.
- Concepts related to geographic data technologies and methodologies are a plus.
- Knowledge and understanding of the products and services offered by Imagem is a plus.
