About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and select hardware components for the electrical and automation systems of new machine functions, assemblies, and machine parts, based on applicable requirements and customer specifications, while ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Contribute to the selection of technical solutions and devices to be adopted, in line with applicable requirements and the strategic guidelines defined by the Division and the Company.
- Provide the correct design and implementation guidelines for the electrical bill of materials and related electrical schematics of automatic machines.
- Participate in working groups dedicated to risk assessments, with a particular focus on machine safety development and compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial automation sector, including industrial plants, electrical panels, and industrial automation systems.
- Knowledge of EPLAN electrical CAD software.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and suppliers.
