Key responsibilities & impact

Support media relations and press activities, including press release distribution, media tracking, and coordination of follow-up and interview logistics.
Manage social media scheduling, monitoring, and engagement while identifying opportunities to amplify content and respond to audience interactions.
Format, publish, and maintain blog and website content, ensuring quality, accuracy, accessibility, and on-time delivery.
Coordinate internal communications through Slack, email, and all-staff updates, and supporting internal campaigns and message distribution.
Maintain editorial calendars, templates, workflows, and trackers to ensure alignment, visibility, and timely execution across communications and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations, digital content publishing, social media management, or a related field.
Demonstrated success managing multiple deadlines, workflows, approvals, and publishing timelines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience supporting communications execution across one or more of the following areas: media relations, social media, digital publishing, or internal communications.
Strong computer skills with cloud-based systems and collaboration tools, especially Google Workspace applications, Asana, Slack, Zoom, and related tools used to support communications and marketing workflows.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple moving pieces while meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and follow through on assignments with minimal direction and supervision.
Experience working in a team-oriented, relationship-building, collaborative environment.
Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the USA.
