About the role
- Lead a team of automation engineers to build security tools and integrations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to protect Illumio’s production and corporate environments
- Build, deploy, and automate security solutions to support our defense-in-depth strategy, using a mixture of commercial, open-source, and in-house tools
- Continually improve the effectiveness of our tools, and implement new approaches to address the changing threat landscape
- Perform other activities in support of the Security team’s charter
- Mentor others as you gain knowledge and experience
- Participate in weekly on-call rotations
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leveraging AWS and Azure CLIs and APIs to manage assets
- Designing and building applications in Go, Ruby, C#, and Python
- UX and UI experience with PHP/JavaScript and CSS
- Working with global teams in different time zones
- At least 3 years of experience leading and directing other engineers
- Working knowledge of Illumio’s products and services
- A data-driven, analytical mindset
