About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as ILIAS' central procurement partner across six legal entities.
- Own the end to end purchasing process, including operational purchasing, purchase order management and the coordination of procurement activities.
- Develop and implement a consistent procurement approach across the organisation.
- Operationalise and continuously improve the Purchase to Pay (P2P) framework and procurement governance.
- Lead supplier selection, RFQ and tender processes.
- Manage procurement activities for software, hardware, SaaS solutions, ICT services, facility services and professional services.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract management together with Legal & Compliance.
- Build trusted supplier relationships and further develop vendor management practices.
- Improve procurement reporting, spend visibility and procurement processes.
- Advise stakeholders on procurement decisions that balance commercial value, governance and long term organisational goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or vendor management.
- Experience with commercial negotiations and contract management.
- Experience managing operational purchasing activities and purchase order processes.
- Experience procuring software, hardware, SaaS solutions, ICT services or professional services.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate information into well founded business decisions.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Experience with NetSuite is an advantage.
- Professional communication skills in Dutch and English.
- A bachelor's or master's degree, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
- Experience working within a regulated or defence environment is considered an advantage.
- Professional qualifications such as NEVI, CIPS or equivalent certifications are also considered an advantage.
