About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement functional and efficient network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and internet systems.
  • Install and configure network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
  • Perform network maintenance and monitoring tasks to ensure optimal network performance, security, and reliability, and troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate network performance and develop solutions to optimize it.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the integration of network systems with other IT systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging network technologies and make recommendations for the improvement of the company's network systems.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Excellent knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, VLAN, and VPN.
  • Strong experience in designing and implementing network infrastructures, using different network hardware and software products, such as Cisco, HP, Juniper, and Fortinet.
  • Experience in implementing and troubleshooting network security solutions, such as firewalls, SSL VPN, IPS/IDS, and SIEM.
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Wireshark, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • CCNA & CCNP Certified.
