About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- - Technical guidance of a medium sized team
- - Development and maintenance of Java applications and Microservices
- - Code reviews and ensuring code quality
- - Participation in technical design and architectural decisions
- - Support and mentoring of junior team members
- - Collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and other development teams
- - Participation in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and task planning
- - Coordination of technical matters across different teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- - 5–8 years of experience in software development with Java
- - Previous experience as a Senior Developer, Team Lead, or Technical Lead of a small team
- - Very good knowledge of modern Java versions (11+)
- - Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architectures
- - Experience with REST APIs and relational databases
- - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- - Good knowledge of Git and modern software development practices
- - Very good command of English
- **Nice to Have:**
- - Experience in the banking or financial sector
- - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments
- - Experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms
