About the role
- - Participate in full software development lifecycle of an IT project.
- - Design client & server-side architectures.
- - Apply existing standards for programming, naming, security & performance and provide proper code documentation.
- - Write clean, scalable code.
- - Test and deploy applications and systems.
- - Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
- - Improve existing software.
- - Document new and existing implementations.
- - Act as technical consultant for the client.
Requirements
- - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- - Proven experience of at least 1 year in AS400 or z/OS mainframe operating systems
- - Proven experience as an Application Developer (back-end **preferred**)
- - Experience with relational databases such as DB2 (**preferred**) and SQL Server
- - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- - Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- - Strong written and verbal communication skills (both in Greek and English)
- - Fulfilled military services obligations (if applicable)
