Responsible for creating and supporting services that need to scale for high traffic
Take ownership of new and existing features/services
Participate in the on-call rotation that helps with any after-hours / overnight support issues
Requirements
Experience with NodeJS, Angular, Typescript
Experience with SQL/NOSQL (MongoDB preferred)
Experience with GraphQL
Bonus points added for experience with Kubernetes and Go
Background and/or experience in scaling media / high traffic websites
Familiar with monitoring software such as New Relic, Datadog, or Sentry
Strong written/verbal communication skills and able to take feedback from others
Must be able to operate during EST working hours
Comfortable with Agile development processes, Jira/KANBAN
