About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Travel to iHeartMedia project locations to oversee the installation of new technology
Responds to equipment outages, malfunctions, and related technical problems
Works with team to develop new technology system, procedures, and processes
Assists fellow technicians, and service personnel in the installation, training and support of software, hardware, and related 3rd party peripheral components
Document equipment installation and configuration
Makes decisions on parts, and related tools needed for project completion.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Familiarity with radio broadcast operations including maintenance of broadcast automation and studio equipment
Familiarity with transmitter site RF equipment
Strong computer/IT skills
Must be able to work independently and as a team member
Must possess a valid state driver's license and have an excellent driving record
Must be able to climb ladders, work in small places and lift 50 pounds
This position involves 50% travel.
