About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and service IGT equipment at retailer/customer locations
  • Respond to dispatches and drive to customer locations within an assigned zone
  • Transport, install, remove, and repair lottery equipment and communication devices
  • Organize and maintain IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment
  • Attend driver training and follow company vehicle use and maintenance policies
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and restore it to working order in the field
  • Swap failed equipment, clean components, and make minor adjustments
  • Communicate with dispatchers
  • Report activity, arrival and departure times, equipment failures, problems, details, and resolutions to Dispatch
  • Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts and track inventory
  • Provide basic or refresher training to retailer personnel
  • Complete forms documenting activities, equipment problems, and procedure improvement recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school degree or GED equivalent required
  • 1 or more years of experience in a customer service-related position
  • 1 or more years of experience in technical repairs
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to correctly perceive colors
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for a significant distance
  • Ability to sit and drive for prolonged periods
  • Dexterity when working with tools
  • Ability to work with moving parts and electrical current
  • Ability to work at heights, in close quarters, and in inclement weather
  • Must satisfy applicable security clearance, reference, background check, pre-placement physical, and drug testing requirements
  • May need to provide additional personal disclosures depending on jurisdiction
