About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Technical Artist uses and develops technical tools and processes to facilitate the translation of artistic and animated designs and concepts to electronic media forms.
  • Creates and programs application scripts for character rigs and animation setups, complex simulations, visual effects and shades.
  • Manages pipelines for moving data across stages in the content production process.
  • Works with artists and animators to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 12 years of work experience; 8 years of related experience is required.
