About the role

  • Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required.
  • Works independently, and is the primary contact with development services.
  • Organizes, design plans, directs, and assists in all the activities required for the test effort.
  • Develops test documentation and performs tests.
  • Participates in projecting meetings and meetings with the client.
  • Applies principles and techniques to evaluate systems during development.
  • Recording, reporting, and tracking defects to accurately depict the status of the system.
  • Recommends continuous improvements within the Central Control System.
  • Ensures data integrity by evaluating and recommending appropriate software and hardware solutions.

Requirements

  • A college degree in a technical field, preferably computer science
  • 4+ years' experience in testing environment
  • Strong understanding of the development cycle
