About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in building relationships with existing clients, emphasizing client education and serving as a trusted resource to foster long-term relationships.
  • Support the renewal process for customers’ annual purchase contracts with IGS, working with senior team members to identify opportunities to extend contracts.
  • Help manage sales activities by utilizing company marketing materials, educational resources, and local relationships to support account growth.
  • Support contractual obligations and communications for a book of 350-450 existing commercial accounts under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Assist in maintaining and identifying opportunities to improve the profitability of customer accounts.
  • Help troubleshoot and address issues in the book of business, focusing on client retention and satisfaction.
  • Provide customers with updated information on opportunities and pricing trends within the natural gas futures market.
  • Assist in client meetings (virtual or in-person) with senior team members, traveling as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and grow your expertise.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Basic ability to interpret and analyze information related to sales techniques.
  • Self-motivated with a client-focused mindset and an eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn advanced functions as needed.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior internship or work experience in sales, account management, or client service is a plus, but not required.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
