About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the management and retention of existing clients in a specific region to ensure maximum customer retention.
  • Assist in building relationships with existing clients, emphasizing client education and serving as a trusted resource to foster long-term, mutually rewarding relationships.
  • Support the renewal process for customers’ annual purchase contracts, working with senior team members to identify opportunities to extend contracts.
  • Help manage sales activities by utilizing company marketing materials, educational resources, and local relationships.
  • Assist in maintaining and identifying opportunities to improve the profitability of customer accounts.
  • Help troubleshoot and address issues in the book of business, escalating as needed.
  • Provide customers with updated information on opportunities and pricing trends.
  • Assist in client meetings (virtual or in-person) with senior team members, with travel as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and grow your expertise.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Prior internship or work experience in sales, account management, or client service is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic ability to interpret and analyze information related to sales techniques
  • Self-motivated with a client-focused mindset and an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to learn advanced functions as needed
  • Strong communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to take initiative, make decisions, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple tasks.
  • Adaptability to handle increased responsibility and autonomy as the role evolves.
