About the role
- Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies aligned with project requirements
- Execute test cases with precision, combining manual and automated testing techniques to identify defects
- Begin developing and maintaining basic automated test scripts
- Analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Own and architect the regression testing process
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking systems
- Effectively report issues and collaborate with the development team
- Generate detailed test result reports and present findings to stakeholders
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Proven experience in software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with and a good understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) for test automation
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot complex testing issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
