About the role
- Define and own the regional sales strategy for Nexus Black, aligned with IFS’s AI and innovation growth goals.
- Build and manage a high-performance regional pipeline focused on strategic customers with bold AI ambitions and strong alignment.
- Shape and articulate value propositions for complex, high-impact AI co-creation opportunities.
- Partner with IFS executive leadership to influence commercial models and go-to-market structure for this premium-tier innovation motion.
- Identify and qualify prospects for Nexus Black engagements, focusing on high-impact, executive-led, and AI-mature organizations.
- Act as the face of Nexus Black in regional engagements, building deep trust with C-suite and innovation stakeholders.
- Lead deal orchestration from strategic discovery through to contract, often involving complex, non-standard buying processes.
- Represent Nexus Black at key events to identify new prospects and inspire use case discussions.
- Work hand-in-hand with the AI Growth Unit, Product, Marketing, and Industry teams to co-develop compelling proposals and co-creation plans.
- Translate customer ambition into structured four-phase engagement models (Problem Definition, Proof of Value, Accelerated Development, Digital Continuity).
- Ensure seamless handover into delivery while maintaining executive sponsorship and commercial oversight.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Deep experience selling into industrial verticals (e.g., manufacturing, aerospace, energy, construction, utilities, defense).
- Proven track record of closing complex, consultative, and high-value sales engagements.
- Experience in AI/ML, innovation consulting, or co-creation business models is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with AI use cases such as predictive maintenance, optimization, scheduling, or autonomous operations is a strong advantage.
