About the role

  • Define and own the regional sales strategy for Nexus Black, aligned with IFS’s AI and innovation growth goals.
  • Build and manage a high-performance regional pipeline focused on strategic customers with bold AI ambitions and strong alignment.
  • Shape and articulate value propositions for complex, high-impact AI co-creation opportunities.
  • Partner with IFS executive leadership to influence commercial models and go-to-market structure for this premium-tier innovation motion.
  • Identify and qualify prospects for Nexus Black engagements, focusing on high-impact, executive-led, and AI-mature organizations.
  • Act as the face of Nexus Black in regional engagements, building deep trust with C-suite and innovation stakeholders.
  • Lead deal orchestration from strategic discovery through to contract, often involving complex, non-standard buying processes.
  • Represent Nexus Black at key events to identify new prospects and inspire use case discussions.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the AI Growth Unit, Product, Marketing, and Industry teams to co-develop compelling proposals and co-creation plans.
  • Translate customer ambition into structured four-phase engagement models (Problem Definition, Proof of Value, Accelerated Development, Digital Continuity).
  • Ensure seamless handover into delivery while maintaining executive sponsorship and commercial oversight.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep experience selling into industrial verticals (e.g., manufacturing, aerospace, energy, construction, utilities, defense).
  • Proven track record of closing complex, consultative, and high-value sales engagements.
  • Experience in AI/ML, innovation consulting, or co-creation business models is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI use cases such as predictive maintenance, optimization, scheduling, or autonomous operations is a strong advantage.
