About the role
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base and increase revenue in the assigned territory
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the engineering and construction industry
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and propose tailored solutions to meet client requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our services and expand our network
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management within the engineering and construction industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts
- Strong understanding of engineering and construction processes, technologies, and industry trends
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools
- Experience with financial analysis and contract negotiation
- In-depth knowledge of local and regional construction regulations and standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required up to 50-60% of time
