About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate and fine‑tune DLP policies for endpoints, cloud applications, and communication channels — reducing false positives while maintaining effective detection coverage.
- Investigate DLP alerts and data exposure incidents: correlate signals, assess severity, and contribute findings to CSIRT investigations.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of data classification policies and data-handling procedures for internal users and third parties.
- Monitor and strengthen security configurations of corporate SaaS platforms: Google Workspace, Salesforce, Databricks, Slack, and similar tools.
- Support the enforcement of Document Retention & Disposal policies — ensuring corporate data is retained, archived, and disposed of in compliance with LGPD, GDPR, and internal requirements.
- Monitor insider-threat indicators and contribute to behavioral-analytics rules that detect anomalous data access or movement.
- Support the enforcement of device posture policies — ensuring only compliant devices access corporate systems.
- Participate in Sensitive Data Mapping initiatives — helping to identify, catalog, and classify sensitive data assets in corporate and production environments.
- Use AI tools to improve DLP policy quality, accelerate alert triage, and identify patterns in data exposure events.
- Create and maintain operational metrics on alert volumes, policy violations, false-positive rates, and remediation progress.
- Document findings, decisions, and processes clearly to support team knowledge and operational continuity.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience with DLP tools and policies in corporate and production environments.
- Knowledge of data classification concepts and how to apply them in practice.
- Experience investigating data exposure incidents and correlating signals from multiple sources.
- Familiarity with SaaS security hardening (Google Workspace, Salesforce, or similar).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: LGPD, GDPR, PCI-DSS, BACEN, among others.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate investigations, reduce noise, or automate repetitive security tasks.
- Detail-oriented and analytical: ability to trace a data exposure signal to its root cause.
- Autonomous and well-organized: ability to manage own work, escalate when necessary, and document findings clearly.
- Collaborative: works well with CSIRT, IT, Legal, engineering teams, and other stakeholders.
- Advanced English (required).
- Experience with SASE platforms (Netskope, Zscaler) or similar is a plus.
