About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and manage iFIT's global import compliance operations, with primary focus on U.S. customs clearance
Develop and execute audit and valuation processes, including physical assisted components, tooling, and freight assists
Manage and improve reconciliation programs for flagged entries, including post-entry audits
Oversee HTS classification reviews and maintain the classification database
Lead customs broker partner RFPs
Design processes and systems for compliance with U.S. and international customs laws and regulations
Supervise and coordinate trade compliance and brokerage team activities
Serve as primary contact for customs authorities and resolve complex issues
Collaborate with customs officials, shippers, and stakeholders on trade compliance issues
Monitor regulatory changes and improve processes
Manage global import/export activities across the USA and support other operating regions
Oversee trade documentation, risk mitigation, compliance manuals, SOPs, compliance committee initiatives, ACE Portal activities, country-of-origin reviews, and post-entry audits

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in import, customs compliance, or trade management
Experience with ACE Portal, trade compliance systems, and SAP
Deep understanding of U.S. customs regulations, tariffs, and trade laws
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) license preferred
Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or equivalent trade compliance certification considered
