About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive sales growth by owning targets, building pipeline and identifying new business opportunities
  • Expand footprint within existing accounts and develop strategic account growth plans
  • Lead the full commercial process from opportunity identification to deal closure and negotiation
  • Translate technical product performance into clear economic value for customers
  • Provide hands-on technical support in plant environments, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Identify customer challenges in yield, fermentation performance and process stability, converting them into solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Services, Application and Marketing teams to deliver aligned solutions
  • Build strong, multi-level customer relationships across plant, technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Deliver structured business updates, including account plans, pipeline tracking and actionable insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree (Chemical, Biochemical or related field)
  • Experience in ethanol or industrial fermentation environments
  • Highly proactive, business development–driven professional with a consistent track record of building pipeline and successfully closing new opportunities
  • Strong ability to convert technical knowledge into commercial opportunities
  • Fluency in Portuguese and intermediate English proficiency required
  • Ability to influence both plant-level stakeholders and business decision-makers
  • Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented and cross-functional approach
  • Hands-on, pragmatic mindset with problem-solving capabilities
