About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs across sites, from development to implementation and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws, permits, and corporate standards
- Manage key programs such as wastewater, hazardous waste, air emissions, personal protective equipment, and emergency response
- Partner with regulatory agencies and manage reporting, permits, and compliance obligations
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Drive EHS data management, reporting, and performance tracking for regulatory and business needs
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs while promoting employee engagement and ownership in safety initiatives
- Support waste management programs, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement and EHS-related capital projects across sites
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4–7 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of environmental, health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and managing permits and reporting processes
- Proven expertise in hazard identification, industrial hygiene, and risk assessment methodologies
- Experience leading incident investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver training and influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems, with business-level English.
