About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independent accounting and posting of purchase invoices in accordance with Polish accounting regulations;
  • Managing and executing payments to domestic and foreign suppliers;
  • Posting and reviewing bank statements;
  • Active participation and ownership of the month‑end and year‑end closing process;
  • Supporting financial reporting and analysis;
  • Cooperation with banks as well as Treasury and Accounts Receivable teams within the Group;
  • Handling and overseeing business travel expense settlements;
  • Performing and reviewing general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Preparing and reviewing internal financial reports;
  • Supporting audits and providing required documentation;
  • Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements within the Finance Department;
  • Acting as a subject‑matter expert and supporting less experienced team members;
  • Other ad hoc accounting and finance‑related tasks.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Fluent Polish and English is mandatory (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting within an international organization
  • Very good knowledge of Polish accounting/tax principles and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Navision preferred)
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to support and guide others.
