Senior Customer Service Specialist – Export & Maritime Logistics
IFFManage Order to Cash processes for complex B2B customer orders with a focus on maritime logistics. Ensure compliance with international trade standards and maintain communication with global customers.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end Order to Cash processes for complex B2B customer orders (domestic and export)
- Handle export operations with a focus on maritime logistics, including booking coordination and shipment follow-up
- Ensure accurate order entry, tracking, and invoicing activities in SAP (Sales and Distribution module)
- Monitor order fulfillment and proactively coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and shipping lines
- Manage documentation requirements aligned with international trade standards and Incoterms
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, discrepancies, and customer claims
- Process credit and debit notes related to customer transactions
- Maintain proactive communication with global customers in advanced English
- Drive continuous improvement of KPIs (on-time delivery, service levels, order accuracy)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- +4 years of experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, or Order Management (B2B environment)
- Strong experience in maritime export operations and international trade processes
- Solid knowledge of Incoterms and export/import documentation
- Hands-on experience with SAP (Order to Cash / SD module)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal communication with global stakeholders)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel
- Ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
