About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive regulatory compliance across assigned product lines and technologies, ensuring alignment with global regulatory requirements and implementation standards
  • Support global commercialization and go-to-market strategies by ensuring regulatory readiness for product launches and compliant product positioning
  • Partner with Business and R&D teams to support innovation programs from early development through commercialization, proactively identifying and mitigating regulatory risks
  • Act as a global regulatory lead or key partner for designated technologies or product lines, ensuring consistency and alignment across regions
  • Connect and align cross-functional and multi-regional teams, enabling effective collaboration between global, regional, and local stakeholders
  • Lead and influence regulatory-related projects, driving outcomes in a global matrix environment without direct authority
  • Provide technical and regulatory expertise in areas such as enzymes, biotechnology, and food ingredients, supporting assessments, submissions, and authority interactions
  • Translate complex regulatory and scientific information into clear, business-relevant guidance for decision-making and product positioning
  • Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and assess impacts on the business, supporting proactive strategy adjustments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within the food ingredients, food, or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and experience managing multi-regional regulatory activities
  • Proven experience supporting product development, innovation, and commercialization processes
  • Ability to interpret and translate complex scientific and regulatory information into practical business guidance
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and regions
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-functional exposure
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
