About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Regulatory Affairs activities for Food Biosciences ingredients (including enzymes, cultures, and related products) across Latin America
  • Partner with R&D, Applications, Quality, and Business teams to prepare and support regulatory submissions and notifications in the region
  • Provide accurate and timely regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and customers related to existing products and new product launches
  • Manage product registration and maintenance activities, including preparation, submission, and follow‑up of regulatory dossiers with local authorities
  • Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance of Food Biosciences products throughout their lifecycle in the region
  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory developments and assess their potential business impact
  • Mentor and support other regional team members, sharing regulatory knowledge and best practices
  • Participate in trade associations, working groups, and regulatory initiatives as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, or a related scientific field with 5 years of experience; or Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within food, food enzymes, cultures, biotechnology, dairy, or another regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of Latin American regulatory frameworks, product registration processes, and compliance management
  • Hands‑on experience with registrations of food enzymes and cultures in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, or similar markets
  • Experience analyzing regulatory changes and providing practical, risk‑based regulatory guidance to business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with strong documentation and data management discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.
