Account Manager, H&B
IFFAccount Manager in hybrid position managing customer accounts and driving commercial success in Brazil's Dairy Biosciences sector. Building partnerships and overseeing commercial activities while collaborating with internal teams.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, building long-term partnerships that drive revenue and profitability
- Proactively identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within assigned customers, segments or territories
- Conduct regular customer engagements and visits to understand needs, present tailored solutions and strengthen collaboration
- Lead commercial activities including pricing discussions, negotiations, contract follow-up and agreement execution
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Application, Technical and Customer Service to ensure seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts and opportunities using internal tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including Salesforce
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, opportunities and sales pipelines in CRM tools
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication, alignment and timely follow-up
- Anticipate risks and opportunities, taking a proactive approach to support sustainable business growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of proven experience in account management, sales or commercial roles, ideally within Dairy Biosciences or related industries.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer stakeholders
- Solid negotiation skills and commercial acumen, including pricing and contract management
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders
- Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, to manage pipelines and forecasts
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Results-driven and customer-oriented mindset with a high level of accountability
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently to support customer and commercial activities
