About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, building long-term partnerships that drive revenue and profitability
  • Proactively identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within assigned customers, segments or territories
  • Conduct regular customer engagements and visits to understand needs, present tailored solutions and strengthen collaboration
  • Lead commercial activities including pricing discussions, negotiations, contract follow-up and agreement execution
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Application, Technical and Customer Service to ensure seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction
  • Monitor sales performance, forecasts and opportunities using internal tools and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, including Salesforce
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, opportunities and sales pipelines in CRM tools
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication, alignment and timely follow-up
  • Anticipate risks and opportunities, taking a proactive approach to support sustainable business growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in account management, sales or commercial roles, ideally within Dairy Biosciences or related industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer stakeholders
  • Solid negotiation skills and commercial acumen, including pricing and contract management
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce, to manage pipelines and forecasts
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Results-driven and customer-oriented mindset with a high level of accountability
  • Willingness and availability to travel frequently to support customer and commercial activities
