About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain CLP notifications and Poison Centre Notifications (PCN)
  • Author, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in compliance with GHS, CLP, and applicable regional regulatory requirements
  • Ensure SDS accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regional classification and hazard communication requirements across internal databases and systems
  • Develop, manage, and update hazard labels using SAP, UL WERCS, and other labeling or design platforms
  • Perform physical, health, and environmental hazard classifications for substances and mixtures using GHS and CLP criteria
  • Evaluate raw material compositions, supplier SDS information, and toxicological data to establish and justify product classifications
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, proactively updating SDSs, labels, and related documentation to maintain ongoing compliance
  • Classify substances and mixtures for transport in accordance with DOT, IATA/ICAO, IMDG, ADR, and RID requirements
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, EHS, and Operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, toxicology, environmental science, or related field)
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical role within a corporate or consulting firm
  • Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and clearly communicate technical or regulatory information
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of cross‑functional teams
  • Self‑motivated and results‑oriented
