About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare, submit, and maintain CLP notifications and Poison Centre Notifications (PCN)
Author, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in compliance with GHS, CLP, and applicable regional regulatory requirements
Ensure SDS accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regional classification and hazard communication requirements across internal databases and systems
Develop, manage, and update hazard labels using SAP, UL WERCS, and other labeling or design platforms
Perform physical, health, and environmental hazard classifications for substances and mixtures using GHS and CLP criteria
Evaluate raw material compositions, supplier SDS information, and toxicological data to establish and justify product classifications
Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, proactively updating SDSs, labels, and related documentation to maintain ongoing compliance
Classify substances and mixtures for transport in accordance with DOT, IATA/ICAO, IMDG, ADR, and RID requirements
Partner cross‑functionally with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, EHS, and Operations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, toxicology, environmental science, or related field)
3–5 years of experience in a technical role within a corporate or consulting firm
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and clearly communicate technical or regulatory information
Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of cross‑functional teams
Self‑motivated and results‑oriented
