About the role

  • Own an end-to-end technical solutions for a specific data products (such as Customer Experience data)
  • Transformation layer ownership: turning raw data into clean, testable and documented models (using e.g. dbt)
  • Semantic layer creation and maintenance: consistent metrics and business entities accessible to BI/analytics teams
  • Data quality automation: test, alerts, lineage and documentation
  • Apply DevOps and production best practices, including CI/CD, version control, code reviews, and performance monitoring
  • Translate business requirements into tangible development needs for the data products
  • Help business understand the data products and their potential
  • Collaborate closely with data consumers (such as analysts), internal stakeholders, and external tool vendors

Requirements

  • Several years (2–5+) of hands-on experience designing and developing data solutions that enable analytics
  • Strong programming skills and proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Databricks experience is a plus
  • Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
  • Relevant higher education background and fluency in English
  • Curiosity to learn and try new technologies especially in the areas of analytics and data engineering
