About the role
- Mentoring and developing a team of analysts and data scientists.
- Working cross-functionally with other departments, using analytics & data science to solve business problems and drive business impact.
- Partnering with the Sales & Marketing Departments to drive, develop and deploy new use cases for analytics, enterprise-wide.
- Work on internal or external presentations, and review the work of staff on an ongoing basis.
- Participate actively in business discussions, helping the organization make data-informed decisions.
- Provide requirements to the data engineering team as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications:
- Practical working knowledge of Python, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Practical working knowledge of SQL.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and use data/insights to improve business results.
- Degree in a quantitative field (engineering, math, economics, computer science, physics, or data science).
- Previous experience managing a team or delivering projects.
