About the role
- Edit raw footage into polished final deliverables (transitions, pacing, color correction/grading, and sound design/mixing).
- Produce promotional videos, ads, tutorials, explainers, and brand stories.
- Create platform-optimized exports (YouTube/Instagram/TikTok/LinkedIn) with correct aspect ratios and safe zones.
- Organize files, proxies, templates, and assets for an efficient workflow.
- Edit full podcast episodes (video + audio): noise reduction, EQ, compression, leveling, and multi-camera sync.
- Produce highlights, teasers, intros/outro, trailers, and episodic branding elements.
- Add captions/subtitles, chapter markers, and engaging overlays to improve retention and accessibility.
- Ensure audio loudness consistency suitable for publishing platforms.
- Produce high-retention short-form videos with strong hooks, fast pacing, dynamic captions, and clear CTAs.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short clips using value-first storytelling.
- Create A/B variants (hooks, captions, thumbnails, pacing) to improve watch time and engagement.
- Create motion graphics, animations, and VFX to enhance storytelling.
- Design title sequences, lower thirds, transitions, and on-screen graphics.
- Build reusable motion templates aligned with brand guidelines.
- Produce AI-assisted videos and short films using generative visuals, AI voice/avatars, upscaling, and automated workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on goals, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
