About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide consultation and support to telemedicine customers regarding medical questions related to completed diagnostic imaging reports.
You’ll guide customers on appropriate case submission protocols, including diagnostic imaging procedures and available specialty resources.
You will partner with radiology, cardiology, and specialty teams to help ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
You’ll support customer education by explaining specialist findings, diagnostic technologies, and imaging recommendations.
You will proactively contribute to telemedicine product initiatives by creating, reviewing, and enhancing customer-facing and specialist-facing technical materials.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams including Customer Support, Marketing, and clinical specialists on projects that improve services and customer outcomes.
You will participate in regular team meetings to share knowledge, discuss customer needs, and stay current on service enhancements and medical developments.
You’ll help strengthen customer relationships through responsive communication, effective problem-solving, and trusted clinical guidance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree.
5+ years of clinical veterinary experience.
Strong clinical judgment and confident case management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted customer relationships.
Exceptional customer service and business relationship-building skills.
Ability to interpret and apply information from specialist reports, diagnostic technologies, and clinical protocols.
Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed and cross-functional environment.
Effective problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities.
Professional maturity, adaptability, and responsiveness to customer and team needs.
High integrity and accountability in delivering commitments to customers, colleagues, and the organization.
Passion for veterinary medicine, education, and continuous learning.
Knowledge of IDEXX Telemedicine services, including Radiology, Cardiology, and Specialty Services, is a plus
Hands-on experience with radiographs, ultrasound, and ECG interpretation or case management is preferred.
Keen interest in diagnostic imaging, cardiology, and supporting specialist teams through collaboration and learning.
