About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide consultation and support to telemedicine customers regarding medical questions related to completed diagnostic imaging reports
  • Guide customers on appropriate case submission protocols, including diagnostic imaging procedures and available specialty resources
  • Partner with radiology, cardiology, and specialty teams to help ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience
  • Support customer education by explaining specialist findings, diagnostic technologies, and imaging recommendations
  • Proactively contribute to telemedicine product initiatives by creating, reviewing, and enhancing customer-facing and specialist-facing technical materials
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Support, Marketing, and clinical specialists on projects that improve services and customer outcomes
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share knowledge, discuss customer needs, and stay current on service enhancements and medical developments
  • Help strengthen customer relationships through responsive communication, effective problem-solving, and trusted clinical guidance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree
  • 5+ years of clinical veterinary experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and confident case management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted customer relationships
  • Exceptional customer service and business relationship-building skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply information from specialist reports, diagnostic technologies, and clinical protocols
  • Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed and cross-functional environment
  • Effective problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making abilities
  • Professional maturity, adaptability, and responsiveness to customer and team needs
  • High integrity and accountability in delivering commitments to customers, colleagues, and the organization
  • Passion for veterinary medicine, education, and continuous learning
  • Knowledge of IDEXX Telemedicine services, including Radiology, Cardiology, and Specialty Services, is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with radiographs, ultrasound, and ECG interpretation or case management is preferred.
