About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a sales pipeline and make phone calls to customers to close new accounts for Web PACS, Telemedicine, and CardioPET.
Provide product demonstrations via webinar for prospective customers.
Consistently maintain an accurate sales forecast.
Maintain Salesforce with accurate customer notes and opportunity information.
Probe for and address competitive activity.
Coordinate sales opportunities that span multiple IDEXX products involving multiple IDEXX sales representatives.
Work both independently and as part of a team.
Attend industry shows in territory as necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be fluent in both French (preferably Quebecois French) and English
4+ years of sales experience with demonstrated history of closing; Veterinary Industry experience a plus
Ability to negotiate and close sales with a consultative selling approach
Capability to absorb and articulate technical information
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Highly motivated and goal oriented
Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook)
