About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a sales pipeline and make phone calls to customers to close new accounts for Web PACS, Telemedicine, and CardioPET.
  • Provide product demonstrations via webinar for prospective customers.
  • Consistently maintain an accurate sales forecast.
  • Maintain Salesforce with accurate customer notes and opportunity information.
  • Probe for and address competitive activity.
  • Coordinate sales opportunities that span multiple IDEXX products involving multiple IDEXX sales representatives.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attend industry shows in territory as necessary.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be fluent in both French (preferably Quebecois French) and English
  • 4+ years of sales experience with demonstrated history of closing; Veterinary Industry experience a plus
  • Ability to negotiate and close sales with a consultative selling approach
  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and goal oriented
  • Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Office: Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook)
